Metro Parks, Serving Summit County, is forming a young birders group.
The organization is designed to encourage bird watching and sharing information of bird identification, equipment and habitats. It is open to anyone age 8 and up.
Youngsters can learn about spring migrants in a program at 2 p.m. April 11 at the Seiberling Nature Realm, 1828 Smith Road.
A second program on birds that nest in tree cavities will be held at 3 p.m. April 25 at the nature center.
